What Are the Legal Requirements
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, BS9999, and other fire safety guidelines, it’s a legal requirement for the ‘responsible person’ to ensure regular fire door inspections are carried out. How often you need to do this depends on several factors, like the building’s use, age, the condition of the doors, and how often they’re used.
